Companies are rallying behind KDS Door-to-door T&E Solution - Cost control and user experience are driving strong traction of KDS Neo.
July 11, 2013 – London – Paris – Leading European travel and expense (T&E) software management provider KDS has announced that KDS Neo, its award winning door-to-door T&E solution, is experiencing unprecedented levels of market traction, with corporations selecting this SaaS based solution in order to provide fast and easy business travel booking on mobile and web platforms.
Across Europe and in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) organisations are deploying KDS’s latest T&E solution. KDS Neo reduces travel costs and provides employees with a simple and quick solution to book travel.
Some of the first implementations include the UK independent global investment managers Baillie Gifford and recruiting company Salt, whilst French company Leoni, a leading provider of cable systems as well as UAE headquartered dnata, one of the largest suppliers of combined air services in the world, are all deploying KDS Neo.
Nasar Aboo E-Commerce Manager at dnata said “Our customers are all very impressed when they first see KDS Neo and we are very busy scheduling and phasing its rollout”. These company’s can now provide their travellers with a complete door-to-door travel booking solution, which not only enforces travel policy, but also provides the cheapest travel options available and prebuilds their entire expense claim.
“Our employees are constantly using their tablets,” said Duncan Doak, Director at Salt. “They switched to KDS Neo without any training and loved the door-to-door approach. In a company like ours being able to control T&E costs while providing a cool, quick and easy tool really made the difference with our team members. We have already seen a significant decrease in trips that were simply too expensive when we saw the total cost of trip”.
KDS Neo not only supports the finance and procurement departments in successfully hitting their goals and objectives, but also means that managers approving travel can view the total cost of trip prior to booking. This total cost includes all of the options that are to be booked and all of the anticipated expenses.
“KDS Neo is both the best cost saving tool for finance departments and the sexiest app on the market for anyone who needs to book a complete trip in a few taps from a mobile, tablet or laptop”, said KDS CEO Dean Forbes. “These first clients are leading the way in the next generation of online booking tools and we are delighted they have trusted us from the very first day we launched Neo”.
In spring 2013 KDS Neo received two industry awards: The 2013 Smart Mobility Supplier Award and the Innovation Trophy. The latest release of KDS Neo was delivered on the 28th June incorporating feedback from customers including the ability to go from one location (i.e. the office) to the meeting but return to a different location (i.e. home).

How and Why are Business Travellers Cheating Their Expense Reports?
A KDS White Paper
One main truth is evident, whether through a lack of understanding or a lack of care, misunderstanding how and why expense reports are falsely completed means increased costs, lower programme performance and greater employee dissatisfaction.
In December 2011, KDS surveyed business employees, asking the questions we have all wanted to ask, the results were enlightening, giving us a better understanding of why travel expenses can be a major issue for employees and thus why they are an issue for the organisation.
Expense Management affects employees behaviour and a solution to employees cheating on their expense claims is an integrated travel and expense solution.
